Default Forum habits

Ever notice your own habits when you're posting? I'm pretty sure most of you have atleast 1 or 2. For example, today I noticed:

"
Whenever I post something detailed, I do 1-2 sentence paragraphs.

And end up with an entire post that looks double spaced.

Like this.

Except sometimes I get like a 3 liner near the end somewhere. Atleast that's how it shows up when i'm typing it... but the actual post cuts it down to just two lines.
"

Also more often than not: I open this forum in a less than happy mood and start typing a long response, only to press the back button half way through because the message really doesn't contribute, or may be too conterversial. Or sometimes I forget what I was getting at in the first place.

I don't know, I thought it might be fun if everyone shared these things.

Oh dear God yes. I get enough pm's as it is. That and I jump around within the forum like a spider monkey on crack.

I really need more to do at work.

I start typing really long posts, get distracted, then come back hours or days later and either finish the post, just post it anyway, or decide that I don't know what the hell I was on about and just close the tab.

I find the longer it takes to type a post the less sense it actually makes
i like to keep my posts short and sweet or else I am talking about something unrelated

I do the typing of long post and deleted them a lot, to avoid myself trolling someone else. Its my: "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all" syndrome.

I also like this smiley alot.

When I'm at work I usually tend to type up something big. Then I let it sit for awhile to do something important then come back and hit "Post Reply". The problem? The forum logs you out after awhile if you're not active and I always hit "back" instead of just logging in again, losing all of my post.

I tend to miss the fact that the post I am writing was addressed 5 posts before mine, or spend so much time thinking it out, that someone says the same thing(only more eloquently and succinct) in the time it takes for me to write and post.

i always start typing in in lower case for the first sentence. Then, after that, I usually type with (fairly) proper punctuation, grammar and syntax. It's a bad habit that I blame on many a long night spent on AIM, with drunken Estonians, in my younger years.

I kicked my all consuming habit ages ago - it was trying to _reason_ with PvEers. True story.
